The Program Administration unit works collaboratively with the Economic
Development and Program Operations units of the Philadelphia Empowerment Zone to facilitate
the community development objectives of the American Street, North Central and West Philadelphia
neighborhoods.
The unit's job is to work with EZ stakeholders to facilitate the effective operation of the
EZ organization and the effective implementation of EZ grantee programs. The Program Administration
unit works to apply best practices in the areas of program development and evaluation; fiscal and
contract monitoring; and organizational management.
